learning opportunities for the California K-20 community.
The K-20
California Education Technology Collaborative (K20CETC)
consists of K-20 education leaders who work together on
partnerships, planning, and policies that advance the use of
technology to improve teaching and learning in California. The
K20CETC website offers ICT educators educational technology
publications and
resources, as well as information about the following
K20CETC
projects.

New
Media |
The K20CETC’s
New Media Project is a collaboration with the
California State University's Digital Marketplace
Initiative to develop common standards for
digital resources so educators can more easily
find and share the materials they need. |

CAHSEE
Preparation |
California public school students must pass the
California High School Exit Exam (or CAHSEE) to
receive a high school diploma. The K20CETC’s
CAHSEE Preparation project is creating a set
of high-quality test preparation resources that
can be used by both high school and community
college instructors. |

Online
Course Delivery |
The K20CETC’s
Online Course Delivery project seeks to
provide California K-20 students with access to
effective and engaging online learning experience
from
UC
College Prep and other sources.

Career
Exploration/STEM |
Through
The Real Game California™, students can learn
about different jobs, the California employment
marketplace and the consequences of their career
decisions. The K20CETC’s
Career Exploration/STEM project supports the
online version of
The Real Game California, in particular its
use to strengthen students’ familiarity with STEM
career pathways. |

Communities of Interest |
The K20CETC supports
communities of interest who use technology in
ways that demonstrate enhanced group communication
and collaboration. |

Other

cost-effective methods for

CENIC, which
provides California educational institutions with
high-performance Internet-based networking.
