The
Higher Education Consortium of Central California (HECCC),
established in 1981, is a partnership of two universities and
four community colleges committed to the advancement of
academic excellence in California’s Central Valley, a
distinctively diverse region. Its mission is to provide
effective leadership that promotes programs, policies, and
performance designed to increase higher education attainment
by the people of the California Central Valley.
Through dynamic and evolving collaborations member
institutions combine resources, share intellectual capital,
facilitate innovative projects, promote professional
development, and increase equitable access to higher
education. In pursuit of the mission the consortium addresses

ICT faculty at member schools can use this collaborative to
align ICT program offerings, improve ICT articulation and
transfer in the region, and better use technology to deliver
high quality ICT education.
