The Michigan
Council of Women In Technology (MCWT) is the premier
association for women in Michigan’s technology community. It
welcomes members who want to network with like-minded
professionals, in the high technology arena; share hopes, and
practical issues; and find answers to business and personal
career-oriented challenges. People in the MPICT region may be
interested in this as a model for attracting and serving women
in ICT.
MCWT provides a robust web of technology resources and an
industry voice for its constituents, while fostering the
advancement of women in technology. This progressive
organization offers comprehensive programs structured to
effectively bring value to a diverse group of professionals.
The MCWT 501(c)3 non-profit Foundation is dedicated to
correcting the growing gender disparity gap in information
technology.
MCWT Foundation strengthens Michigan (its corporations and
organizations) by encouraging workplace diversity, innovation
and competitiveness. The Foundation strives to be a
self-sustaining source of inspiration, support, educational
programs and scholarships for Michigan's technologically
-oriented girls and women--- at all stages of their
lives and careers.
