Microsoft’s DigiGirlz programs give high school girls the
opportunity to learn about careers in technology, connect with
Microsoft employees, and participate in hands-on computer and
technology workshops. Through programs like Digigirlz Day and
their High Tech Camp, girls are engaged in hands on learning
and challenged to break the stereotypes that have been
plaguing women in the ICT world. By capturing girls at a
younger age, Microsoft is actively planting the seed of ICT
curiosity and knowledge in hopes of grooming these young women
to one day be successful ICT professionals.
