ComputerGirl Online’s mission is to encourage female teens who
are curious about Computer Science. It was started by current
Stanford student, Amy Wu, as a high school student, to bridge
the gap between young women in high school and the computer
world. Since then, the ComputerGirl project has become an
Association
for Computing Machinery's Committee on Women in Computing
(ACM-W) project.
