Professional Associations

The California Industrial and Technology Education Association
(CITEA) is a politically active nonprofit that promotes
Industrial Technology Education (ITE), Vocational Education,
and Regional Occupational Programs. Its sister organization,
the
California Industrial and Technology Education Association
Foundation (CITEAF) was founded at the same time to
support education and professional development in these same
fields.
CITEA serves ITE/CTE teachers and faculty at ITE/CTE-related
teacher preparatory programs. It advocates increased funding,
resources, and recognition for their programs.
In addition to a
newsletter,
CITEA News, the CITEA website also provides information
about:
·
The
CITEAF Annual Conference
·
