decisions about curriculum design and instructional
approaches.

Professional Learning Councils |
Cal-PASS is more than a data collection and
reporting organization. Members of Cal-PASS
collaborate in
Professional Learning Councils to promote the
successful transition of students as they progress
from school to school during their academic
careers. These councils, made up of teams of
discipline-based faculty from elementary schools,
middle schools, high schools, community colleges
and universities, use Cal-PASS data to improve
curricula, instructional practices, and
assessments. The Cal-PASS website provides
summaries of educational projects initiated by
Professional Learning Councils. |
