Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Education at Windward Community College

Windward Community College (WCC) is committed to excellence in the liberal arts and career development.  We support and challenge individuals to develop skills, fulfill their potential, enrich their lives, and become contributing, culturally aware members of our community.  About 2,000 students are served by the college.  As the university’s youngest campus, Windward Community College is a primarily liberal arts transfer institution offering concentrations in business, art, Hawaiian studies, psycho-social development, plant biotechnology and bio-resource management, plant landscaping and agricultural technology.  Students benefit from major new facilities at our Kaneohe campus, including a new science complex with a state-of-the-art Imaginarium, a humanities and arts complex and the new campus center, which houses the cafeteria, bookstore, student government and other student services.

Information and Computer Sciences classes are available and may help students prepare to pass all or part of the Computer and Information Literacy (CIL) exam required for the A.A. degree.  Windward offers a Certificate of Competence in Applied Business and Information Technology and a Certificate of Competence in Web Support.  Students may wish to avail themselves of the STEM courses offered at Windward.
