Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Education at Truckee Meadows Community College

 

Truckee Meadows Community College serves over 12,000 students in the Reno/Sparks area with programs leading to associate degrees and certificates in more than 40 academic and occupational areas. TMCC provides convenient access to classes through its main campus, three education centers and WebCollege.  Offering academic and university transfer courses, occupational training, career enhancement workshops and classes just for fun, TMCC is the fastest growing college in northern Nevada.

TMCC's Computer Technologies department offers a variety of courses from office software skills to advanced networking. The department offers programs in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Networking and Server Technologies, and Web Development. TMCC's Graphic Communications program offers degrees and certificates in Computer Graphics and Digital Media that prepare students to work in Web site design, multimedia/digital video production, and interactive 2D and 3D animation.
