Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Education at Ohlone College

 

 

Ohlone College serves the cities of Newark, Fremont, and part of Union City, located in the southeast area (East Bay Area) of the San Francisco Bay area, California (Campus and Area Maps).  Ohlone is part of the Ohlone Community College District.  The Fremont campus is located on Mission Boulevard off Highway 680 on a beautiful 534-acre hillside site just south of historical Mission San Jose. The Newark campus is located on Cherry Street west of Highway 880 on a 31-acre site adjacent to the San Francisco Bay. The mission of Ohlone College is to serve the community by offering instruction for basic skills, career entry, university transfer, economic development, and personal enrichment for all who can benefit from our instruction in an environment where student learning success is highly valued, supported, and continually assessed.

Ohlone's Computers, Networks, and Emerging Technology department offers courses and A.S. and A.A. Degrees and Certificates to prepare students for employment in the field of computers, networking, and emerging fields in technology as a computer programmer, database administrator, systems administrator, support specialist, network technician, computer engineer, web developer, or related positions.
