Lassen Community College (LCC)
is nestled in the hills above Susanville, CA, at
the juncture of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade
mountain ranges and the Great Basin high desert.
It is a comprehensive two-year community college
offering to some 3,000 students per year unique
and nationally renowned vocational programs and
transfer to four-year institutions including UCs,
CSUs, the University of Nevada at Reno and
numerous private schools. A truly rural locale,
the college’s 39 buildings are located on 165
acres close to many opportunities for boating,
fishing, hunting, cycling, hiking,
horseback-riding and snow-sports. In addition to
classrooms, laboratories, and offices, it has a
dormitory with a capacity of 90, a library,
college union, computer rooms, a large gymnasium
and outdoor recreation facilities. |
